Episode 30

ALEC ROTH is a writer/director/producer. His feature writing/directorial debut film “Billy Knight” (starring Charlie Heaton, Diana Silvers, and Al Pacino) is currently in post production.

After graduating from College, Roth went to work for his father, helping him on many feature film scripts, that include. A Star is Born, Dune, and Killers of the Flower Moon. He then went to work for a number of directors and helped with their own productions. He worked for director Agnieszka Holland on 2 episodes of House of Cards. He then went to work for James Grey on the feature film Ad Astra starring Brad Pitt. Then, he worked for Darren Aronofsky on a PSA commercial for the Health and Drug Administration.

He produced the 2024 SXSW smash hit “Desert Road,” through his production company Firebrand Media Group, and partners Josh Clayton and Kirk Martin and is set to start pre-production on his next directorial follow up,

“The Mystery of Francis Reynolds,” in the upcoming months. He is also the co-founder of the IP development and entertainment studio Iconic Arts, focusing on gaming, merchandise, and Film/TV IP.
