Today, we're joined by legendary indie film producer Ted Hope! Ted Hope's career began in the late 1980s, and he gained recognition for his early work as a producer on independent films like "American Splendor (2003)," "The Devil and Daniel Johnston (2005)," and "The Ice Storm" (1997).
Throughout his career, he co-founded Good Machine, championed innovative storytelling, and advocated for emerging filmmakers. In 2015 he joined Amazon Studios as Head of Development & Production. His legacy is characterized by a lifelong dedication to indie cinema and a commitment to fostering new talent.
His most recent project, Cassandro, which tells the story of a homosexual amateur wrestler from El Paso, Texas who rises to international stardom, is available to stream on Prime Video now.
