Description

May Robson was an America-based actress whose career spanned 58 years, starting in 1883 when she was 25. She appeared in dozens of films in the 1930s, when she was in her 70s. Robson was the first Australian to be nominated for an Academy Award for her leading role in 'Lady for A Day' in 1933.

May was born Mary Jeanette Robison in Moama,New South Wales, Australia, on the 19th of April 1858.
