Justin Titchenell interviewed Coach Jack Pulte from Weber High School in Utah. Coach Pulte just completed his eighth season coaching football. On Episode 73 of First Down, Pulte shared his background and journey into coaching, starting as a player at Garnet Valley High School in Pennsylvania.
Coach Pulte had a varied career path before settling into his current role as the WR coach at Weber High School. Coach Pulte encouraged new coaches to remain open to learning and not to limit themselves to one specific role or area of expertise. They also highlighted the importance of working with different positions within the sport to have a comprehensive understanding of the game.
