Welcome to the first episode of Yeah, I Got a F#%*ing Job with a Liberal Arts Degree! Jeff Crane, student of the liberal arts, environmental historian, and higher education administrator for the past 11 years, hosts a wide range of guests whose experiences as students of the liberal arts have shaped their lives in school, as professionals, and in their lives outside of their careers.
The inaugural guest for the show is Eric Riggs, the Dean of Cal Poly Humboldt's College of Natural Resources and Sciences. Eric graduated with a degree in English before pursuing Geology as a graduate student. His perspective on the liberal arts is comprehensive and nuanced and his conversation with Jeff makes for an intriguing kickoff to the show.
