Description

Trigger Warning: This episode touches on themes of suicide and grief.

If this topic feels too heavy right now, skip this one or come back when you're ready. If you’re finding things difficult, you are not alone, please reach out for support. ❤️

Carla is back with a reflective solo episode from her time in Portugal and what she’s learned since being here.

She reflects on a recent mushroom trip taken on her dad’s birthday, which unexpectedly cracked open her unprocessed grief around the suicide of her cousin Paul.

She talks through how trauma often lives deep in the body, the importance of creating space to feel your feelings, and how grief shows up in the most unexpected ways, even when you're convinced you’ve already dealt with it.

Finally, she chats about what learning something new, like surfing, has been teaching her and what it can teach you too.

Hopefully, this episode will make you feel less alone when it comes to healing, as even Carla is still working through things  just like us all!
