Nikki Jones is the lead singer and songwriter for the Nikki Jones Band. She grew up around musicians all her life. Her father Don Jones has been a blues musician for over 50 years. Nikki Jones had endless options of tools, instruments, and equipment since she was born. Her greatest influences are Don Jones, Jonny Lang, Jimi Hendrix, Allmen Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Joss Stone, Evanescence, Ray Charles, Sam Cook, B.B. King, Danielle Nicole and many more legends. She started singing and playing guitar, piano, and bass at just 10 years old.
Riven was started on October 23rd, 2017. Nikki Jones started out her first year with multiple gigs around Salem Oregon, and competed in the national blues competition; Journey to Memphis, then later was featured in the Blues Super Jam at the gorge Blues and Brews Fest of 2018 with Robbie Laws, Ben Rice Timothy James, Annie Piper and many more. Later she used her own name Nikki Jones as the band name as of March 2019 and played in the international blues competition and made it to the portland waterfront blues festival.
