In the Kingdom of Tayyar, a devastating plague has consumed the lives of nobles and commoners alike. Within just a single year 20% of the population have died and another 20% have fled the lands claiming it to be cursed. To make matters worse, there are rumors of an approaching hobgoblin army, the commoners preach for a civil war, and other enemy kingdoms are looking to topple Tayyar in its weakened state. Navigating Tayyar through such a terrible time are the only remaining heirs of the royal family/local barons must band together despite their differences and inexperience in order to help their kingdom survive.
