Description

Welcome to the Posh & Plastic podcast! 💋 The podcast where we discuss pop culture and events of the 90s and 2000s. As we time travel this week, we are going to be visiting record stores of the 90s and revisiting a time where Toddler beauty pageants were a big thing.

💿 Record stores were a fun place to hang out at back in the day. You certainly had your favorite store and it was always fun sampling CDs in the store before buying them. Kylie is talking about why music stores were great, the history of Sam Goody, Tower Records, and the Virgin Megastore, then she's breaking down the top albums of the 90s by year.

💿 In the late aughts, the curtain was pulled behind the scenes of beauty pageants for young children with the TLC show, Toddlers and Tiaras. We were introduced to some young kids that went on to do other shows and are now venturing into the real world as adults today. Amber is walking us through the start of it all.
