What is Holy Chrismation? Chrismation is one of the sacraments of the Church. After a Christian enters the Church through Holy Baptism, they are sealed with holy oil on various parts of their body, which is the seal of the gift of the Holy Spirit. In some cases Christians are received into the Church through Chrismation only if they have previously been baptized in another Christian confession.
I had a guest on my channel some time ago who gave a rather unorthodox opinion, that Orthodox Christians who were received via Chrismation are not Orthodox. I have stated before that I disagreed with his opinion but in an effort to do some "damage control" I am going to dedicate this stream to the topic. We will discuss the various aspects of this question which is always a hot topic of debate. Hopefully we can give answers to those people who are entering the church and have questions about how they should be received. There will be a guest who underwent the process of a "corrective baptism" and she will share her story and the circumstances surrounding it. Viewers will be invited to call in if they wish to ask a question or voice an opinion during the stream.
