In this episode, inspired by Fred DeVito's wise words, "If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you," I take you on a personal journey into the world of public leadership.
I'm excited to announce that I'm now a graduate of the Southern African Public Leadership program, a transformative initiative for ethical and innovative young leaders in Africa. But let me tell you, this journey wasn't just about earning a certificate; it was about self-discovery and personal growth.
During the program, we explored transformational learning, internal leadership development, and the profound idea that love is a choice. I discovered the healing power of authentic love and learned to embrace my true self.
We also delved into transactional learning, where I gained skills in public leadership and understanding the interconnectedness of our lives. I was inspired by stories of individuals making a difference, even in the face of challenges.
Finally, we studied systems, acquiring knowledge of political and government institutions. I entered with little knowledge and left with the confidence to influence stakeholders and make a positive impact.
Now, I'm proud of who I've become—more confident, bold, and daring. I may be terrified, but I'm not alone. I'm part of a community of sharp swords ready to step out and raise our war cry.
Join me on this journey of public leadership and self-discovery in the latest episode of 'Scenes From Adulting.' 🌟
