Dr. Fiala is the Professor of Oboe at Ohio University. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the United States, Italy, England, Germany, France, Spain, Canada, and Japan. Her orchestral work has included performances with the Cincinnati Symphony, Columbus Symphony, Memphis Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Tucson Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, West Virginia Symphony and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra.
