Hey everyone,

Just the other day I was kicking back, watching a series of videos from fellow content creators - you know, just trying to catch up on what's new in the world of content creation. And, as I watched, I noticed a pattern that got me thinking 🤔.

You see, video is such a powerful tool for us. It's like a window that allows us to connect directly with our audiences, build relationships, and express our ideas and stories in the most engaging way. It’s like having a conversation over a cup of coffee, except with a few hundred (or thousand) folks at the same time.

But, as I kept watching, I realized some things weren’t sitting right. 🧐

I found myself squinting to make out the blurry image on the screen, straining to hear over poor audio, and oh man, did I feel lost without those subtitles! 🤷‍♂️ And a lot of the time, I didn't even know what action the creator wanted me to take after watching their video.

It was like these videos were doors, inviting me into a new world of content, but some didn't have handles, others had broken hinges, and a few were even missing the welcome mat!

And I couldn’t help but wonder…

Are these mistakes we're making without realizing? Are we letting the power of video slip through our fingers because of easily fixable issues?

It got me thinking about how we, as content creators, can improve and truly harness the power of video. How can we make sure we’re putting our best foot forward and not making these common mistakes?

Well, friends, I've compiled my thoughts into a video (no irony there, I promise 😂). It's packed with tips and insights based on my experiences, my observations, and yes, my own past mistakes.
