On this episode, my guest is Khalil Smith. Khalil and I met in the Summer of 2021 when his father reached out to me to make some custom Air Max 97's for his son Khalil. Since then, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Khalil and his story. Khalil is a college football player at West Virginia Wesleyan College and shortly after the freshman season he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2020. He has been in a fight for his life ever since, but trust me, Khalil isn't going anywhere anytime soon... On the day this episode was recorded, Khalil was receiving the last of his 24 rounds of Chemo, so it made for a really fun conversation.
