Jennifer & Caroline Taylor join Emily to share the miracle of Caroline’s life. In this vulnerable episode, the mother-daughter pair share their testimony about Caroline’s Spina Bifida. They encourage listeners to choose joy no matter the circumstances. The goodness of God is evident in every situation.
Jennifer walks us through seemingly normal pregnancy leading up to best, yet hardest day of her life. She dives into explain the consequences of the disability, and the hopelessness she felt after Caroline was diagnosed. Through it all, her family was surrounded by prayer from family & their church community. It was evident that God was still present in that hard time. Jennifer admits that without faith, she wouldn’t have been able to walk through that difficult season. Because of their faith, they chose to praise the Lord in the pain.
Jennifer and Caroline express that it is normal to ask God “Why?” He wants us to bring our questions, pain, frustrations, and anger to Him. He wants our whole heart. However, they remind us that we can’t stay in the ‘why’ for too long. With the firm belief that no season is wasted, they choose to use it all for God’s glory.
Caroline explains how she chooses to find joy in her circumstances. She reminds us that God has every detail in His hands. He is behind everything, He has a plan, and He holds it all together. The Lord works miracles and through Him there is good.
