When Phillip accepted Jesus’ invitation to follow him, Philip hurried to find his friend, Nathanael, to invite him to meet Jesus, too. Nathanael had questions and doubts about Jesus, but Philip offered him a simple invitation, “come and see.” Sunday was Friend Day.
