Are you excited? In eight days, you will wake up and the
smiles will be huge. You get to stay in
your pajamas. You get to eat breakfast together. You get to see him open the
gift you worked so hard on. It is truly
a day of great joy. And it should be.
I wonder though, are you excited about what Jesus has
done in the world?
How about this? Let’s remember, together, what Jesus did. In the midst of all the gifts and food and fun, we can remember the one who gave us each of these things. I just want to remind you of the excitement of that first Christmas and show you why these temporary joys are just
reflections of the ultimate joy we have in Jesus.
