Have you heard of the 911 Saves Act? It's a bill before the federal government to reclassify 911 dispatchers from clerical/administrative professionals to protective services. This has the potential to open a lot more doors for dispatchers in regards to mental health care and retirements. Please reach out to your representatives and tell them to vote YES on this Bill!
