With the Federal Parliament in its Winter Recess, things feel deceptively calm. It's been two weeks and Australian international educators haven't been loaded up by overnight visa changes or loaded up with short timeframes on major consultations.
Maybe we can finally get back to work being the 4th largest contributor to GDP, and one of the largest contributors to cultural diversity across the country?
But that's not to say that there's nothing going on: IDP has released its latest Pulse survey, and the results are really interesting. Rob and Dirk also dive into the launch announcement for the new Adelaide University (the institution being created by the merger of the Uni of Adelaide and UniSA). Plus they're joined by special guest, Louise Goold a.k.a. the "Program Boss Person" for the AIEC conference because the conference schedule is out and super early bird registrations close next week.... so now's the time to register to save hundreds of dollars!
Global Horizons is a production of The Global Society, Australia's Learning Abroad Support Company.
We are incredibly proud to be the OFFICIAL podcast of the AIEC Australian International Education Conference... super early bird registrations close 31st July!
