It’s the eve before the first day of school. Summer break is at a close, and children are feeling both anxious and excited. But this year is different. The world has changed. Countless hours of preparation and consideration has led to a decision. Troy schools will start the 2020-2021 school year virtually. This raises a lot of questions. We know you are concerned. We know that this might be causing stress. Through this podcast, we hope to help alleviate as much of this tension as we can, because doing the best for our community is our mission.
The Troy School District is finding a way, and this is just the beginning.
Guests for this episode include Kerry Birmingham (Director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives), Lisa McDonald (Teaching & Learning Literacy & Curriculum Specialist PreK-5), and Sara Ventimiglio (School Psychologist).
