🎙️ Hello and welcome to AuDHD Me & MO: The Podcast!

Today, I’m diving into something that’s been on my mind for a while — the lack of diverse marketing and sales journeys 🚫📈, especially from the people who have such a strong influence on our entrepreneurial lives.

Now, let me be clear: I have deep respect for folks like Alex and Leila Hormozi, Charlie Morgan, and T. Harv Eker 🙌. They’re brilliant, inspiring, and have built powerful platforms.

But — I’m honestly tired 😩 of seeing the same narrative over and over: building a business and acquiring clients through a gym-based, high-performance sales model 🏋️‍♂️💼. It’s everywhere on social media 📱, and it doesn’t reflect the lived experiences of many of us — especially those of us who are neurodivergent 🧠✨.

For us — Autistic, ADHD, or both — the real path isn’t about replicating the traditional grind. It’s about stepping fully into the Japanese concept of Ikigai 🌸:

❤️ What you love

💪 What you’re good at

🌍 What the world needs

💰 What you can be paid for

In a world where only 20% of autistic individuals hold full-time jobs 🧩, and where ADHDers often have what’s called the “scattered CV” 🌀, it’s time we recognize that our path is different, not deficient.

When we position ourselves authentically — just like Alex, Leila, Charlie, and Harv do in their own way — our outreach isn’t “cold calling” ☎️. It’s connection 🤝. Because we see resilience in others, and we know we can offer them something meaningful 💡.

Take for example Kara Laws, a guest on my podcast 🎤, who received a “Best Small Business TikTok Influencer” award 🏆. That’s the world I want to live in — one where business is about collaboration 🤗, lifting each other up, and building from who we truly are — not competition and burnout 💼🔥.

A lot of the marketing stories we hear today begin with: “I needed to make money” 💸.

And while that’s real, starting from there often means starting on shaky ground ⚠️.

Too many people are doing life backwards 🔄 — chasing income goals like 5K/month or 10K/month before defining who they are.

But what if we flipped the script? 🔁

What if we led with ourselves 🌟, offered something deeply us to the world, and let the community, services, and income grow from there 🌱?

That’s the kind of business journey I believe our neurodivergent community can pioneer 🛤️ — not tied to brick-and-mortar models 🧱, not trying to fit a mold 🧩, but being so radically authentic 🔥 that we shine in our own unique way ✨ and grow naturally.

Let’s talk about that today 💬.
