Last week we focused on the cleaning of the temple and the connection between Abraham and the Triumphal Entry. I can’t imagine how triumphant it was when God provided a sacrifice for Abraham. The feeling Abraham must have felt was probably similar to what the people of Israel felt at the time of Jesus triumphal entry. All that leads us to Easter which is the crucifixion and the resurrection. Easter coincides with the Passover that started just before Israel was released from bondage. It is a reminder that before victory comes death.
