What drives our pride? Often, we are driven by our personal motives and desires. If we are not careful, we can begin to walk away from God rather than be in pursuit of Him. The writing of James can at times be hard, but this scripture is inspired by God and is a protection for the body of Christ. When we walk away from God we walk away from his protection. Scripture helps us evaluate and correct our lives to be in line with the holy spirit.
