Today, we’re at Lakeland College for the Indigenous Holiday Market!
Tinisha Jordan and Jazmyn Gartner from Lakeland College Indigenous Services gave us a tour of the amazing student services and this special event, which is on until 4 PM today.
We had the pleasure of meeting talented students Ryan and Bree from the Hairstyle and Barber course, who are doing incredible work here today with tinsel.
We also spoke with Elston Trottier and Emery Marchand from the Indigenous Student Council about the significance of the Market in celebrating culture and community and the importance of the council.
