🎙️Welcome to the RECAP podcast! 👋Today we welcome the wonderful Sarah Guscott...Sarah is a dedicated educator, author, and occupational therapist with a background in both early years education and higher education. She holds two degrees one in Early Childhood Studies and the other in Occupational Therapy, as well as a Master’s in Education, and is a Fellow of Advance HE. Her career began in early years education, and after her youngest child started school, she retrained as an occupational therapist, combining her passion for learning with her personal experience as a mum and caregiver.Now working as a Higher Education Lecturer and Curriculum Leader, Sarah brings together academic knowledge, research informed practice and lived insight to champion inclusive, sensory-aware approaches for neurodivergent individuals. She is especially passionate about sensory processing and its power to make everyday life more manageable and meaningful for individuals and families alike.Sarah is the author of three books, including a children’s story that explores sensory experiences and has written several published articles on sensory wellbeing, emotional regulation, and inclusive practice.
