Legendary record producer Bob Marlette joins me as we discuss him growing up in Lincoln, Nebraska, his mid-70's band with Rudy Sarzo and Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot, dating 80's singer Toni Childs, and producing the groundbreaking Tracy Chapman debut that went on to become a massive success. We also discuss how John 5 is indirectly responsible for Bob beginning to produce rock albums as well as working with Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath, and the band that almost was featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest and Black Sabbath guitar legend Tony Iommi.
