Thrash legends Slayer have officially reunited, announcing two major festival headline shows at Riot Fest in Chicago and Louder Than Life this fall with the lineup consisting of the most recent members of the band, including of course both Kerry King and Tom Araya, as well as Paul Bostaph and Gary Holt. What does the future of Slayer look like beyond these two festival announcements though? What about Kerry King’s recent interview with Rolling Stone where he says that he and Tom haven’t spoken since 2019 when the band folded?
