This week we are joined by my first Swiss long-term Airbnb host in Thailand, nestled in the center part of the Island Enda Lanta Bungalows in Ko Lanta was the highlight of my first few months in the country! You can hear a lot of people talk about Koh Phangan, Ko Samui, Ko Tao, or Ko Phi Phi and Ko Lipe are also quite popular Islands where Europeans try to get wasted in Thailand. Koh Lanta on the other hand is chilled and laid back, with amazing cafes and restaurants on the beach with a lovely atmosphere.
The main reason I loved this place so much was because the staff at Enda Lanta and my delightful host Dani, made the experience so natural - what’s better is that we had a chance to talk about this Island with Dani who first visited the Island 17 years ago!!! That was a time when traveling to Thailand was not as mainstream as it is now. She is an amazing host and accommodating conversationalist. Dani is one of the freest spirits I have ever met in my life!
