Please welcome a dear friend, a very talented large canvas painter - an amazing person to chat with - with great taste in music - what more can I ask from Khaled? He migrated to Istanbul around 12 years ago and has been there since. During my regular visits to his house, we would have deep conversations about life, as two curious individuals about philosophy and, deeper states of consciousness. He has a lot going on for him with a well-deserved solo exhibition in Dubai with one of the biggest galleries in the game!
Our conversation started in Syria, the oldest area in the world where civilization has existed, and the global hypocrisy of governments then quickly it came back to the individual and what we can do to choose happiness for ourselves, the future of education, how Khaled is living his dream life, various sorts of inspiration for painting, thoughts about original art, quantum physics, auctions, creative pursuits allowing fulfillment within that overflows to the external world aka money, Khaled’s favorite artists, how individualism is causing more depression and division than good, and even boxing from the Tyson-Holyfield times.
