In today's episode Felicia tells us all about her own personal sex journey that has essentially changed her life in so many ways. Felicia’s interest in sexual health and sex education sparked in 2019, after having numerous conversations with peers and colleagues about their poor and uninformative experiences with sex education. Soon after, Felicia founded Sex & Self in May 2019, an organization born at McGill University that strives to inform individuals about their sexual health and wellbeing. Felicia is currently expanding Sex & Self, by branching off with smaller chapters that range from high school seminars to a weekly podcast. Felicia hopes that we can eventually normalize the conversation around sexual education and that one day, comprehensive sex education will be readily available to all, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
