Welcome back everybody! In this episode I am reacting to a judge Judy episode that involves a large dog with a small dog. The small dog unfortunately is euthanized because of the damage done and the amount of money it would cost for surgery. And even if this gentleman laid out the money for surgery on his little dog there are no guarantees because internal injuries cannot be seen without surgery. This is a sad story. I don't think that the retractable leash is because the dog was attacked at all. I still hate retractable leashes and I strongly strongly feel that it did not help with the owner retrieving his dog. The large dog owner is completely negligent. She did not have care, control, and custody over her dog. I am passionate about leash laws and length of the leash you put on your dog.
We must be responsible and take accountability for our dogs when we are in public.
