Description

Join us for the inaugural PODCAST episode of Work Your Career Wednesday! In this episode Bradley describes the purpose of the show, outlines mission of WYCW, and the reasons this podcast exists. Work Your Career Wednesday aims to Empower, Encourage, Educate, and Entertain every candidate, employee, manager, and leader who seeks to improve and enhance their experience. Bradley is leveraging a career that spans over two decades in recruiting/staffing and Talent Acquisition. As an industry veteran he has placed hundreds if not thousands of professionals in contract, full-time/direct-hire, and project roles in the areas of IT, engineering, management, executive leadership, and C-Suite. Over that span of time, as Brad has "...seen some things..." good, bad, but never indifferent. In this podcast and television series, Bradley pulls back the curtain of hiring, promotion, and leadership - but he doesn't do it alone. His guests include:

Marques Ogden - Titans/Ravens, best selling author and motivational speaker, host of Get Authentic with Marques Ogden

Corey Jackson - Defensive Lineman for the Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos - currently the CEO of the fastest growing recruiting/staffing/consulting firm in the US, Querkz, Inc.

Rey Delgado aka Chochito Alonzo - fmr. Major League Baseball player, broadcaster/entertainer)

Karla Tai
(Architect of the Raiders front office - VP of Ops/HR, Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders)

Tony Buzbee
(Founder of The Buzbee Firm, considered to be one of the best trial lawyers in the United States. Successfully defended Texas AG Ken Paxton as part of his impeachment legal team)

WYCW offers insights from a recruiter's perspective. Bradley likens recruiting to two professions - one a Hollywood agent or a Jerry Maguire-esqe sports agent. In fact, Jerry Maguire aka Leigh Steinberg is a major inspiration for Bradley. The other, a bartender therapist - negotiating the best deal where everyone knows your name! Talent Acquisition - is a little different, but there is a thin line between gathering talent or acquiring talent and hunting for it. Either way, WYCW seeks to give an insider's guidance in a weekly short-form show to help people looking for a job, people who have a job, and people who manage those people.
