Prabanchan aka S.Vaidyalingam was a renowned writer and Sahitya Academy awardee. The story revolves around two protagonists, Krishnamoorthi and Manonmani. Moorthi meets Mani at an exhibition in Pondicherry and recalls the nostalgic childhood days. Mani was married off to her drunkard cousin who is now admitted at a hospital in a critical condition. Moorthi gets to know how Mani’s life has reached a stage of doldrums and extends his helping hand. The author has augmented a poignant experience in this narrative.
