Where does God ultimately want to lead his sheep? David has told us in this psalm that he leads us from green pastures to valley’s and to a lavish table of blessing and victory. God’s intention is to always lead us into the abundant life. This last verse in Psalm 23 paints a beautiful picture of God’s perfect, unconditional love. This entire psalm leads us not to a particular destination, but to God himself. He is our eternal destination, but he can also be our daily destination.
