In this solo episode we’re talking about one of my favorite topics - daily mindful practice! The energy we bring into our day is the soil that nurtures our growth, and we can’t over emphasize the value of daily practice.
Here are a few points about daily practice worth taking away from this episode:
Daily practice is defined (by me!) as any mind/body practice where we can be fully present and clear out things we don’t need energetically. Examples are yoga, breathwork, silent meditation, chanting, a walk in the mountains with your dog. It's different for each person.
Our daily practice of choice may evolve and change over time
Why everyday?
We get the full experience of going deep into a practice, and there’s scientific research around the physiological effects of doing something daily for a period of time
It allows us to observe our resistance and overcome excuses we give ourselves
We can observe how the practice affects our lives - our relationships, our job and how we coexist with the world
