Description

When you came out to LA, you were living in your car for a period of time? When I got to LA I had fifty dollars in my pocket. I had a hole in my tire and I had no place to go. I was living in my car. I went to try and get some gas and I thought how my ex wife let a girl live with us for thirty days before she moved to California. So I called my ex-wife and asked her to call this girl and see if I could stay with her for thirty days. So she called and the girl said yes. So I asked the guy working at the gas station and said, could you tell me where this address is? He looked at it and says, walk to the corner, turn left and walk down four more blocks. So I took that as a gift from God. That it was meant for me to be in California. I lived with her for thirty days, looking through the Drama Log and Variety and I saw this job, this casting notice and I tried out for it. I called them and they told me to come and I went there. They liked me but they said well we want a singer. Can you sing? So I sung a song for them and they gave me the part. So thirty days after I got to California I had the third lead in my first feature.
