Mike Kowis is a long-time amateur racer with a passion for off-road racing. He grew up riding three-wheelers in the woods along the Trinity River and is currently competing in his 14th season of off-road racing in a turbo-charged Side-by-Side vehicle together with his teenage son, Cash. Mike recently published a nonfiction book (Texas Off-road Racing) that reveals what off-road racing feels like from the driver’s seat and shares the gritty details of each side-by-side race that he and his teenage son (Cash) competed in during their run for the 2019 Championship.
