God is so holy that when the angels cry out to Him in worship, they declare not just "Holy!"; not even that He is "Holy, holy!"; no - they cry out that this enthroned God is "Holy, holy, holy - the whole earth is filled with His glory!" In light of prevailing attitudes about God, and about our own sin, it may be that of all God's attributes, this is the one the Church most needs to recover. God's holiness means that some things that we commonly believe are actually impossible, and some of the things that we've long assumed are impossible are actually possible and certain. God's holiness is good news for weary sinners, and we hope this message challenges and encourages you.
