- Headversity starting point was a combination of Dr. Ryan’s clinical training, meeting patients who are not leveraging the tools available, and research around mental health in Hockey.
- EAP (Employee Assistance Plans) were designed for the needs of previous generations, and have to adjust, currently, the utilization rate is only 8% - 11%
Mental health for leaders is becoming table-stakes for leaders to understand stress and burnout and to identify challenges in themselves and their peers.
- Currently, our society is deskilled for the new skills
- The C.A.R.E. framework can make a positive shift but can be counterintuitive for leaders who are used to addressing and quickly fixing issues, this takes time.
