After winning second place in the United States Olympic qualifier for the 100 meter run, Alaysha Johnson claimed that everyone didn't believe she could make the olympics because she is black. Alaysha also stated after the win that she did it for the "hood babies." Considering Alaysha is now an olympian that will be representing the United States of America, don't we think she should be representing ALL the people in America, no matter the color of their skin? Rather than just "hood baby" Americans, as Johnson claimed? Alaysha, you also made it sound like it's so hard for black people to make it into the olympics for running. In this episode, I give Alaysha Johnson a history lesson and show her that the fastest women in history have been black. Congratulations on making the olympics Alaysha Johnson! I hope the absolute best for you and team USA. Win the gold for your COUNTRY and EVERYONE that is in it!
