Genesis 18:14 KJV Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
Description: This lesson is designed to encourage you to believe what God has spoken in His Word. The promises that God makes us are in alignment with His Words. Abraham and his wife Sarah are honored as the father and mother of many nations. God used Sarah’s body to show His power. The same God and the same power is available today to us. Just believe. I want to ask you a question, IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD?
This is Mary Whitby with A MARY L WHITBY TEACHING MOMENT, "IT WILL ONLY TAKE A MOMENT." I want this lesson to stir up your faith to believe God's Word. I have several verses of scripture in mind, I will start with Sarah in the 18th chapter of Genesis verse 14.
Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed, I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. The Word of God is clear. At the beginning of this chapter, Abraham gets a visit from the Lord's messenger telling him that his wife Sarah will bring forth a son in her old age. I am getting excited about this because God knows all the details of our life. He is the MASTER DESIGNER, MASTER orchestrator, MASTER PLANNER, you name IT!. HE IS THE MASTER OF EVERYTHING! HE IS GOD!!!! The LORD AND MASTER! Adonai, the Hebrew Name for God meaning Lord and Master. He is who we are referencing when the question is asked, "IS THERE ANY THING TOO HARD FOR GOD? Our quick response would be NO, NOTHING, right? If we look closely at the human side of it, we will answer without thinking. Shortly after that, the reality of the human side will start to speak out in fear with negative self-talk. At first, Sarah did laugh to herself. That was a sign of her disbelief. Sarah was human just like us. You and I must come to grips with our faith walk and take heed to every one of His (GOD) Promises. The rest is history. Sarah is mentioned throughout the Bible for what God worked in and did in her life. Sarah's weakness was visible at times and she makes mistakes. You and I both must remember that our Father will forgive. Ask Him, He promises to forgive.
The next passage of scripture is from
Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:, this verse reminds us of what God created in the beginning. Ah, Lord God, You made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and out stretched arm. There is NOTHING TOO DIFFICULT FOR YOU. Great confidence is shown here. Not only can you see it, but you can feel the enthusiasm. Along with that comes the excitement of receiving what God promised from His written Word. Please search the scriptures get His Promises, stand firm on them, and watch God bring it to pass.
