I am an individual whose life journey has been shaped by profound faith and personal trials. A former missionary, I encountered various challenges to my beliefs, fielding a wide range of anti-Mormon sentiments. Despite my devout participation in church activities, including fulfilling callings, praying, reading scriptures, fasting, and tithing, I faced a pivotal moment when my faith was deeply tested.
During a time when my young son was suffering from up to 100 seizures a day, I sought solace and assurance in the Book of Mormon. The scriptures, particularly passages promising relief to God's children, provided some comfort. However, grappling with ,y son's suffering and seeking deeper understanding, I experienced a significant shift in my faith, ultimately leading to my departure from the church. Mystory is one of sincere devotion and the complex interplay of faith and personal hardship.
