Kirsty Nancarrow is the author of Himalayan Dreams: The Story of Som Tamang, which was published in February. She wrote the book after a life-changing visit to Nepal following the 2015 earthquakes.
She shares how she undertook the many intertviews for the book, obtained permissions and checked through her chapters with the subject.
This is essential listening if you are planning a biography about a public figure.
