Oliver & Company is Disney’s 27th animated classic feature film. Thanks to its success at the box office, it helped the animation department believe it could continue to make magical and entertaining animated movies. Some might say that this film is the beginning of the Renaissance era (i.e Jamie and Steven).
It features a star studded cast including; Bette Midler, Billy Joel and a young Joey Lawrence. With a superb soundtrack featuring songs like, “Why should I worry?” sung by Billy Joel himself, and talking animals, this film features the classic ingredients to a Disney favourite.
