A born and bred Clevelander, Dave bleeds The Land and always dreamed of working in television in his hometown. A dream that came true in 2007.
In this episode, Austin sits down to talk with Dave about his early days in TV in Toldeo where he started as an intern, earned his stripes as a news photographer and finally got the shot in sports. It’s his persistence in the business that opened up a door to be a sports reporter in Columbus and finally his dream job in Cleveland. Throughout this conversation, Dave highlights covering the highs and lows of Cleveland sports and making his way into morning news. The show ends with the two picking their Mt. Rushmore of all time Cleveland athletes.
