Description

In this inspiring Short Talk on Talks with Dr Shafer, Dr Shafer discusses the importance of decentering toxic relationships in our lives. She emphasizes how these relationships can consume our thoughts and energy, often leading to self-sabotage and a cycle of seeking validation from those who do not support us. By focusing on our own values and goals, we can reclaim our lives and energy, ultimately leading to personal growth and empowerment. We can start to decenter toxic people today, and recenter ourselves. You were always meant to be the main character in your life. It's time to recenter yourself, unapologetically, and decenter those who wish to minimize you and your impact.
