With the election results in, people are experiencing waves of emotions ranging from excitement and hope to despair and rage. It is of utmost importance that we as Christians keep our witness safe in the coming weeks. How we respond to this election matters for how people see Christ and that is not a light thing.
We need to keep the main things the main thing. Christ is King, and He rules eternally. Presidents are temporary and fickle, while God is permanent and unmoving. Our hope is in Christ and we are called to represent him regardless of who's in charge. In the coming weeks we will have every opportunity to either fall into pride or malice and hate, none are Godly.
