Humor is one of the greatest things we have as humans. It can help us heal, find joy again, bond with people, and so much more. However, it can also be weaponized and used to dismiss, belittle, and tear down people.
In our culture, memes have become the primary way people bond over comedy and enjoy humor. However, memes can also be used just like comedy to attack people.
Ephesians 5 commands us to not partake in crude humor and Ephesians 4 says to let everything that comes out of our mouth be for edification. Today we examine some Christian memes to see if they violate God’s divine command.
