There are some videos circulating around the internet claiming that "Jesus wasn't nice" and every so often these types of videos pop off. They tap into the part of a lot of men that feels aggressive and longs to be strong - which is good and we need to know that aggression innately isn't evil. But these takes often don't accurately express what maybe the communicator is trying to say.
To say Jesus wasn't nice is like saying Jesus was an angry man. Both are wrong. Jesus is nice, yet he had times of appropriate anger. To be nice doesn't mean you're never bothered, or that you dismiss truth. But it seems, that's what people might have in mind when they make these videos.
You can stand up for truth without compromising, confront evil, and be nice. They aren't exclusive to each other.
