We talk about how instead of philosophy and theology being in competition with each other, they work hand in hand.
Having good philosophy is needed for good theology. Philosophy is the tool through which theology is built.
That's not to say that philosophy is more authoritative than the Bible or God at all but that you can't have theology without philosophy.
